Lanzarote
is a volcanic island and apparently it is the nearest to a Mars lanscape in
some places. Having said that, it is a beautiful island as you will see from
some of the photographs below. We stayed at the resort of Peutro Del Carmen
in a complex of self-catering apartments called 'La Penita' an excellent place
to stay.
This
is Hayley our Direct Holidays Rep. Wonderful girl, gave 110% every day and

is the main beach about 100 metres further down the road. This photo was taken
at dusk and this is the way the colours were at the time.

is the small cove that was opposite our apartments. It was great for snorkeling.
The
picture to the left is of Beth taking a rest as we walk along the seafront.
To
the right is Beth playing Crazy Golf which I have to admit she beat me every
time !
